MI CLASS '75 REUNION

After 33 years, our batch were able to hold our first reunion. We will hold our grand reunion on 2010 where we expect a larger attendance. Our home in the web is at multiply. I do hope you be kind to post our link in the website so that others will see how we are doing as far as locating our batchmates and keeping the group together. After the reunion, we are now formally organized as a group with a set of officers. We are also in the process of drafting our by-laws and  planning activities for the group. The first project of our group is courtesy of the Health Committee headed by Dra. Susan Orbe. We are going to conduct a Free Diabetic Screening for  batchmates on June 29, 2008 at MC Main. It will be the first of many activities  we will conduct for the health benefit of our members. On the first Sunday of December, we will hold our second Christmas Party as a group. In the summer of 2009, we will be holding a bowling tournament. There are more but I will not bore you with those. We will keep you updated on the going ons of our group if you are interested. We do hope however, that you will give us enough space on your site.

In line with our intention of linking Class 75 to the overall alumni of Meycauayan College, we are giving you some updates of our Batch.

1.  Preparation started as early as July -August 2007. A Working Committee was organized for this
     purpose.

2.  Christmas Party 2007 was held at Shepphered  College, dedicated for set April 26, 2008 Reunion.

3.  Our Batch Website was established "MIBatch75@multiply.com", a great help for each one of us for
     Bonding, Communication and Training with  Mr. Benjie Moronia our Batchmate too, administering our
     site.  Many batchmates with access to computers put up individual sites, helping to know each  other
     at a very short period of  time. Even out of the country batchmates constantly communicated  with us
     here in the Philippines.

4.  April 13, 2008 - Motorcade of Class 75 from Meycauayan  College Main at Calvario, towards
     Marilao, Bocaue, Sta. Maria and Valenzuela.

5.  April 26, 2008 - 33 years after graduation, we launched our 1st Grand Reunion, with our intention of  launching another reunion on May 2010.  Referendum launched at the said Reunion gave birth to   putting up "Meycauayan Institute Class of 1975".  Set of Officers and Committees were again elected  from the 28 representatives of each 14 sections of our batch.

6.  Succeding meetings of Committees were launched.  Initially, Health Committee will be launching our first Medical Mission Activity on June 29, 2008 "Free Doabetic Screenig".

7.  Al activities are being posted in our website. 

Being one of the elected officers of Batch '75, we are proposing  to you,  MC Alumni Association, to
LINK OUR SITE TO THE SITE OF THE ASSOCIATION.  This will minimize the job of  updating  our site with you and at the same, this may also INSPIRE   other batch who might as well have their own sites too.
